Searching for a car
The search uses the rental dates and collection preferences to request available cars. Continuing to the booking page carries those choices in the page address, which is how the booking service opens the corresponding search, and a link to a specific car can also contain that car’s identifier.
The homepage search form asks for no identity documents and no payment details. A shared search link carries whatever was in the address, so personal information has no place in one. The booking service collects what a reservation needs within its own process, and the privacy information presented there covers those details.
Your colour preference
The light or dark theme choice is saved in the browser’s local storage so it survives until the next visit. Clearing this site’s stored browser data removes it. Where nothing is saved, the site follows the colour preference reported by the device.
Third-party booking content
The booking page loads an embedded booking application from an external service, and its requests necessarily connect the browser to that service. The privacy information presented during the reservation process applies to anything submitted there.
Contacting us
The enquiry form sends a name, an email address, optional rental dates and a message through an email delivery provider, and those details are used to handle the question. Where delivery cannot be confirmed, the form displays an email fallback. A direct email carries the sending address and whatever else it contains. Payment-card numbers, security codes, passwords and identity-document copies do not belong in email.
Booking help names the appropriate contact route for each kind of question. A confirmed rental is the rental agent’s to answer, using the details in the confirmation, and this website is the wrong address for it. Questions about the site itself reach the site contact address.
Analytics
When analytics is switched on, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which pages lead to a search. It sets cookies in the browser and sends Google the address of each page viewed, the page that linked to it, and technical details such as device type and an approximate location derived from the connection. A page address on the booking page can include the dates and place of a search, because that page carries them in its URL. Names, contact details and payment details are entered in the booking form that the booking service embeds on the booking page, and this site's analytics is not set up to collect what is typed into it. Clearing this site's cookies removes the analytics cookies.
